Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Tuesday’s session with a mixed performance; the price index gained 0.04% or 2.6 points to reach 6,892.93 points, while both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices lost 0.23% and 0.39%, respectively.

The price index is still positive, with its support levels at 6,865 points and 6,835 points, capital market analyst Mohamad Al Anzi said.

He expected the market’s liquidity to exceed KWD 28 million on Tuesday.

By 9:55 am Kuwait time, the real estate segment topped four gainers with 0.3%, backed by Al Arabiya Real Estate which rose by 7.2% to be the top winner in line with the news published regarding settling the company’s debts.

Meanwhile, the telecom sector led decliners with 0.64%, dragged by Ooredoo and Zain which lost 2.09% and 1.11%, respectively.

Boursa Kuwait’s turnover amounted to KWD 6.5 million after the trading volume reached 45.6 million shares traded through 1,320 transactions.

Zain recorded the highest liquidity of KWD 1.34 million.

National Industries was the most active stock on which 6.5 million shares were traded, rising 1.97%.
